Just before Christmas I got a call from the Director of Marketing, Michelle, at Park Derochie. She said the “boys” were all coming into town from British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Alberta. and she thought it would be an opportune time to photograph them. Now this is not your normal group of guys as I was to find out. They had me set up in one of the execs “man cave” adjacent to his office. It has to be one of the nicest “man caves” I have ever seen in my thirty years of photographing executives across Western Canada – custom iron and wood finishing with memorabilia, leather furniture and a mini kitchen. So I set up my mock studio in this man cave with the intent of capturing individual as well as group shots. There was no shortage of personality with these guys, they teased, laughed and joked as I photographed them. They are team who is serious about their business but believe in having fun during the day too. At times they had me rolling on the floor laughing – always a treat to work with such a great group of guys.
