ACI Architecture and AECOM Engineering both provided professional services in the development of two new projects in Ft McMurray – Holy Trinity High School and the regional RCMP detachment. The photography involved two trips up to shoot the interiors and exteriors of each facility.
Architects at ACI picked up on the natural occurrence of Northern Lights as part of the design on front of Holy Trinity High School. This sculpture is crafted from corrugated aluminum with LED lights underneath to provide a strong visual during the day and night.
The RCMP detachment is the largest detachment in Northern Alberta and boosts the use of dark blue metal cladding to add structure and design to the front entrance. It was an interesting project to shoot.
